Postcards from the Past - Geology in England & Wales

Chris Darmon is currently leading Monday afternoon sessions discussing the geology of England and Wales .  The sessions take place in the premises of Totley Rise Methodist Church - it's great that an opportunity like this is so local! Describing the Totley Rise sessions , Chris says: Each week we will be looking at a different area of the geology of England & Wales, a kind of postcard from the past.  The Yorkshire Coast, the Peak District, the Malvern Hills and Llandrindod Wells are just some of the places we'll be visiting on our geological journey.  We're a lively group of interesting people who love to share our interest.  New members are especially welcome.

Chris also leads various site visits and walks, looking at landscape and geological features of different localities, mainly during Spring and Summer.
